Our history
Founded in 1933, the company ACMH - Ateliers de Construction Mécanique de Honfleur initially specialised in shipyards and ship manufacturing.
In the 1950s, the company evolved and incorporated a new activity: the design of containers for military use and the emerging space industry. Boat construction continued until the mid-1980s. At that time, ACMH - Ateliers de Construction Mécanique de Honfleur completely refocused its activity on the manufacturing of weapon systems containers and ground support equipment (MGSE) for the aerospace industry.
Today, we also leverage our extensive experience to offer solutions dedicated to the industry or humanitarian purposes.
The design of containers, MGSE equipment, and mobile solutions: our expertise
With its know-how, ACMH - Ateliers de Construction Mécanique de Honfleur manufactures containers, MGSE equipment, and mobile solutions with various applications:

Armament: we design and manufacture logistical containers for weapon systems, reconnaissance pods.

Industry: for industrial clients, we custom build sheet metal parts, welded structures, in steel, stainless steel, or aluminium, as well as fitted containers according to plans.

Ground Support Equipment (MGSE: Mechanical Ground Support Equipment): we design and manufacture ground equipment for the aerospace industry, facilitating the handling of satellites or rocket components on the ground.

Fitted containers, shelters: for the military sector, we manufacture fitted (maritime) containers to support personnel (laundry, sanitation, kitchen, etc.) or material support (e.g., rocket or vehicle maintenance workshops). We also design tactical shelters that are reinforced and protected against electromagnetic radiation.
